| Description of Services: |
Meals on Wheels program delivers a variety of hot & healthy meals to the home. All meals are made in a new, state of the art kitchen, and delivered to door by friendly delivery volunteers. A coordinator will note all dietary restrictions and texture modifications to ensure that meals are enjoyable. Each meal is served with soup, buttered whole wheat bread, a protein, a starch, two vegetables and a dessert. Frozen meals are available. Delivery available to Lakeshore and Tecumseh areas five days per week (Monday through Friday) and the Essex area three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) – both with the exception of holidays. |
