  • Provides advisory services to community leaders and council in fire and related matters
  • Develops programs to enhance community emergency service plans and fire inspection services
  • Provides information and training for fire fighters, fire chiefs and officers
  • Assists in the development of volunteer fire departments
  • Undertakes compliance inspections on all types of public and private buildings
    • Advises on:
    • Emergency services
    • Fire protection and acts of terrorism
    • Fire prevention in the home
